Wheelchair Race
The Boilermaker 15K is the premier event of Boilermaker Weekend. This world renowned race is often referred to as the country’s best 15K. The Boilermaker 15K, which sets the standard for race management, is recognized for its fun, its entertaining yet challenging course, and its post-race party at the F.X. Matt Brewing Company. And, the Boilermaker offers up to $14,300 in prize money for wheelchair athletes.
With 3 ice and water stops at every mile, strong attention to medical detail, and crowd support that is like no other race, the Boilermaker 15K is an event not to be missed.

15 kilometers, (9.3 miles), USATF recertified in 2012. The course is marked in kilometers and miles. Over twenty official water and aid stations. Streets are closed to traffic for 2 hours. Splits are given every mile and at 5K and 10K. |

Shuttle buses for the wheelchair participants leave the West Side Senior Center on Court Street (near the finish line) at 6:30am |

The course is restricted to registered runners, wheelchair division athletes and official race personnel. We strongly discourage the use of headphones. |
