If you don’t want to run but still want that Boilermaker experience, try the 3 Mile Walk, sponsored by Wal-Mart. This is a great event for the whole family to enjoy – from kids to grandparents.
With entertainment along the way and a post-walk celebration that includes snacks and beverages, the 3 Mile Walk offers the best of the Boilermaker spirit with a pace and distance that almost everyone can handle.

Participants:
Children under 12 yrs old and registered 5K and 15K runners may walk for free wearing their 2008 bib number. Other participants can register by clicking here.
Start Location:
The 3 Mile Walk, sponsored by Wal-Mart, will begin and end on the grounds of the Masonic Care Community at the Health and Fitness Expo.
Distance & Course:
3 miles have been accurately measured and water stations will be available along the course. The course will be open for 2 hours.
Safety:
Dogs, skateboards, in-line skates, roller skates, and bicycles are prohibited. We also strongly discourage the use of headphones.
