Military T-Shirts For Sale
July 2, 2009 (Utica, NY) — The Boilermaker is selling 400 limited edition military run t-shirts to commemorate the brave men and women serving in Iraq. The tops will be available at the Distance Running Hall of Fame from Monday, July 6 to Thursday, July 10; then at the Boilermaker Expo on the Friday and Saturday before the race. The shirts are sold on a first come first serve basis and are $25 each (tax included). The sales of these shirts are used to support the memorabilia sent to the runners in Iraq. The Boilermaker is anticipating 400 participants in the Middle East, meaning each shirt represents a military runner. Adopt a solider and support our troops!
Roadrunner Mile Features Area's Top, Young Athletes
July 2, 2009 (Utica, NY) — The 2nd annual Roadrunner Mile, sponsored by Time Warner Cable, will feature the area’s top runners, including Marcellus standout Chris Stogsdill, who recently won the mile race at the Nike Outdoor Nationals in North Carolina.

June 29, 2009 (Utica, NY) — Two new limited edition items will be featured at this year’s Boilermaker Expo. Boilermaker cookies and personalized “Runner’s Bib” t-shirts will be on sale during the Boilermaker Expo, on Friday, July 10 from 12 noon to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

June 17, 2009 (Utica, NY) — 6,000 miles away from home, service men and women stationed at Tallil Air Base in Iraq will be participating in the Boilermaker Road Race. This military run is the second year that runners will hold their own race overseas.

June 17, 2009 (Utica, NY) — Photography and advanced placement students in Angelo Gaetano and Matt Keeney’s art class at Clinton Central School are involved in an innovative project to decorate tables at the 12th annual Boilermaker pasta buffet. This all-you-can-eat buffet will be held on Saturday, July 11 from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Boilermaker Expo, sponsored by Planet Fitness, at the Masonic Care Community.
