DESCRIPTION:In 1978\, the Boilermaker began as a 15K road race with 876 runners. Today\, it is a week-long extravaganza drawing over 20\,000 runners\, spectators\, and volunteers. This panel discussion\, featuring Joe Kelly\, John Pitarresi\, Jim Stasaitis\, and Vikki Townsend\, will discuss the race’s origin and growth. \nFree for Oneida County History Center; Suggested donation of $5 for all others \nGirl Scout Fun Patch Event! Any Girl Scouts in attendance will earn an exclusive Boilermaker fun patch for participating. This event is free for Girl Scouts.
