The Boolermaker Kids Run presented by GPO Federal Credit Union is back!

Celebrate the season with a fun and fit Fall event at FT Proctor Park on Saturday, October 24, 2026!

Children aged 4-13 can run any of our fun, flat courses, which range from 1/4 mile up to a full mile. Registration is only $10 and every runner receives a Boolermaker t-shirt, finisher’s medal, and goody bag! Costumes are allowed and encouraged.

Distance & Course:
Race distances and age groups are as follows:

1/4 Mile: Special Needs Children ages 4-13
1/4 Mile: Children ages 4-6
1/2 Mile: Children ages 7-8
3/4 Mile: Children ages 9-10
1 Mile: Children ages 11-13

Safety:
The course is restricted to registered children. Parents are permitted to run with their children. Costumes are welcome and encouraged, but please ensure children wear appropriate footwear and do not have on accessories that could trip them (capes, etc.).
