(Mar. 4, 2020)
The Boilermaker Road Race is pleased to announce its 2020 Charity Bib partners chosen by a select committee of volunteers from a competitive pool of non-profit applicants. Since its inception in 2013, the Boilermaker Charity Bib program has raised over $600,000 which has gone directly to area non-profits.
"We look forward to working with these organizations who have such a tremendous impact in positively changing people's lives in our community," said Christine Pandolf, Boilermaker Community Outreach Director.
The 2020 Charity Bib partners:
- American Cancer Society
- Center for Leadership Excellence
- David's Refuge
- Griffin's Guardians
- Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc.
- ICAN (Integrated Community Alternatives Network)
- Joseph Michael Chubbuck Foundation
- Make-A-Wish Central New York
- MV Latino Association
- On My Team16
- The Root Farm
- The Salvation Army
"On My Team16 is so excited to be part of this program this year. I know people in our community are going to jump at the opportunity to run in this amazing race as well as represent On My Team16," said Jordan Zapisek (Sheridan), founder.
All those interested in running the Boilermaker with a Charity Bib are encouraged to contact Christine Pandolf at the Boilermaker for more information. They are also reminded to not register for the race in the traditional method.
"The Boilermaker's mission is to change people's lives in a positive way," said Pandolf. "We use our various running events to provide people the opportunity to use the sport of road racing as a pathway to physical and mental fitness."View Recent Press
