Join the free Boilermaker community Facebook group. This group will feature training advice from experts and provide a place to talk about training with others who are training right along with you!

These free training plans come from the brilliant minds of the coaches over at The Sneaker Store who know first-hand just how exciting (and humbling) the course can be.
We have several training plan options depending on which race you’re running and your starting point:
15K Training Plans – All Start 4/17
- 12-Week Beginner: running occasionally (between 10-15 miles per week)
- 12-Week Intermediate: running consistently (between 15-25 miles per week)
- 12-Week Advanced: running consistently and/or looking to hit a faster time (25+ miles per week)
5K Training Plan – Starts 5/1
- 10-Week Run/Walk: for those looking to complete their first 5K but aren’t sure where to start
15K Training plans begin on Monday, April 17, 12 weeks out from the race. The 5K plan begins on Monday, May 1, 10 weeks out from the race. If you’re starting later than that, be prepared to adjust and listen to how your body is feeling. Remember: one day doesn’t make or break your training. Keep the big picture in mind and get to the start line healthy!
