5K Race
If you would like to experience a Boilermaker race without committing to a 15K, the 5K Race is for you. Runners in the 5K event get to run the last 5 kilometers of the Boilermaker course and end at the F.X. Matt Brewing Company where the post race party begins!

* For those traveling from out of town, there will be packet pick-up available the day of the race from 6 to 7 a.m. at the start-line. Due to the excessive amount of runners, we urge those picking up on race day to arrive early. |

Distance & Course: |
The course is 5 kilometers (3.1 miles). Water stops will be available along the course. Runners must cross the finish line within a 45 minute timeframe. |
Pre-Race
Shuttle Buses: |
There is no shuttle service to the 5K start. We recommend that 5K runners park at Donovan Stadium/Murnane Field near the 5K start. |
Post Race
Shuttle Buses: |
Free shuttle bus service is available for 5K runners from the Post Race Party to the 5K starting line area. The shuttle buses are located on Whitesboro Street at the rear of the Post Race Party. Buses will run after the completion of the 15K until 1:00 p.m. |
Safety: |
The course is restricted to registered runners and official race personnel. Walkers, dogs, skateboards, in-line skates, roller skates, bicycles, and baby joggers/strollers are prohibited. We strongly discourage the use of headphones. |
